Who is collecting information.
IntelliBotique LLC, based in Nevada City, California. The website is owned and operated by Josh Wolf, founder.
What gets collected.
Two kinds of information, both ordinary for a small website.
- Visit data via Google Analytics. When you visit the site, Google Analytics records anonymized information about the visit: pages viewed, approximate location, device type, referring source, time on page. IP addresses are anonymized. No personally identifying information is collected through analytics.
- Information you provide directly. When you fill out the contact form, the form submission includes your name, email, organization, and message. When you book through the calendar embed, the calendar provider collects the booking details you enter there.
Why it gets collected.
- Visit data helps me understand which writing and which pages people actually find useful, and to spot when something is broken.
- Contact form information goes only to me, and only so I can reply to you.
- Calendar information is used to schedule the consultation you requested.
What does not happen here.
- No selling of any data to third parties.
- No advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or behavioral profiling cookies.
- No marketing automation, no follow-up sequences, no drip campaigns.
- No newsletter sign-ups inside the site itself. The Substack subscription is hosted by Substack and governed by their terms.
Third parties whose tools I use.
This website depends on a small number of third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy.
- Google Analytics 4 for site analytics.
- Google Fonts for typography (Lora, Source Sans Pro, Source Code Pro).
- Calendly when you book a consultation through the calendar embed.
- Formspree when you submit the contact form.
- PickAxe for the embedded chat experience on the Clarity page.
- Substack for the writing archive at intellibotique.substack.com.
Cookies, in plain English.
The website uses Google Analytics cookies to count visits in aggregate. There are no advertising cookies. If you would prefer not to have any analytics cookies set, you can use a browser-level Do Not Track setting or block cookies for this site, and the site will still work normally.
Your rights.
You can ask, at any time, what information I have on file for you, and you can ask me to delete it. The fastest way is to email josh@intellibotique.com and say so. There is no form to fill out. I will reply.
If something changes.
If this policy changes in any meaningful way, the date at the top of this page will change with it. There is no archive of past versions. If you signed up for something specific that referenced an earlier version, I will keep that version on file.
